Strengthen Your Heart is a blog of continual learning and sharing.
As well as a blog of encouragement and hope in our great God’s Word. It is also the acknowledgement of His masterful provision from day one in the garden. Bible Gateway is the most referenced site for all scripture.
From the very beginning, we were created with a miracle engine that keeps us going for years and never stops. The heart soars to the highest peak when completely filled with the Spirit. It is broken in sadness and experiences long suffering while hoping for peace. Furthermore, our hearts crave nourishment, are consoled with music, and light up with excitement when happy.
Because it is the very core of our being and our health relies on it’s every beat. A spiritually whole heart extends to a physically strengthened heart, mind and body. There are factors in our environment that attack the body physically and spiritually. Our reliance on God and His promises must be steadfast in order to strengthen the heart.
Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.
Strengthening Your heart begins with a look at spiritual truth and core beliefs, hence the following are considered:
1. An analysis of what is consumed to feed the body on a daily basis
(Spiritually and physically).
2. Understanding how lifestyle factors play a role in damaging it and the rest of the body.
3. Awareness of the latest treatments (holistic and traditional) in use to help it function at peak performance.
I am graduate of the University of Kentucky–Community College Nursing Program. Also, I obtained a Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Indiana Wesleyan University.
I have a great love of food and anything else that helps the body heal naturally. This love of food spurns a desire to continually study Holistic Nutrition.
Most of all, the experience of caring for patients in various settings, as a registered nurse for twenty-two years is a privilege and an honor. The love of serving and helping others becomes stronger each day and appears to be an unlikely gift God has blessed me with.
A gift of caring for people who’ve taught me about health, chronic disease, coping, praying, living, hoping, grieving, resilience, and sadly…..dying. Realizing just how tough that tiny little organ in the chest is, and how thoughtfully our Creator designed it to withstand all life’s challenges is pretty impressive. Therefore, my hope for this blog is to continue learning about the newest treatments, best food, and encouraging words of truth and share them here with you.
