Strengthen Your Heart is a blog of continual learning and sharing of God’s word and gifts from the garden to help one to strengthen the heart.
Moreover, it is a place of encouragement and hope. It is also the acknowledgement of His masterful provision from day one in the garden.
We were created with a miracle engine that keeps us going for years and never stops. The heart soars to the highest peak when completely filled with the Spirit. It is broken in sadness and experiences long suffering while hoping for peace. Furthermore, our hearts crave nourishment, are consoled with music, and light up with excitement when happy.
The heart is the very core of our being and our health relies on it’s every beat. It is the heart that God looks at when judging a person. Therefore, a spiritually whole heart extends to a physically strengthened heart, mind and body.
There are factors in our environment that attack the body physically and spiritually. Our reliance on God and His promises must be steadfast in order to strengthen the heart.
Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.
Strengthening Your heart begins with a look at spiritual truth and core beliefs, hence the following are considered:
1. Where we stand in the presence of God. I am a Christian. I believe Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Strengthening the Heart begins with knowing God and His plan for you.
2. An analysis of what is consumed to feed the body on a daily basis
(Spiritually and physically).
3. Understanding how lifestyle factors play a role in damaging the heart (spiritually and physically) and the rest of the body.
4. Awareness of the latest treatments (holistic and traditional) in use to help the heart function at peak performance, to live out a life purpose that fulfills you spiritually and glorifies God.
I am graduate of the University of Kentucky–Community College Nursing Program. Also, I obtained a Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Indiana Wesleyan University.
I have a great love of food and reading the bible! I also love anything else that helps the body heal naturally. This love of food and scripture spurns a desire to continually study Holistic Nutrition in light of all God has provided.
Most of all, the experience of caring for patients in various settings, as a registered nurse for twenty-two years is a privilege and an honor. The love of serving and helping others becomes stronger each day.
Furthermore, it is in caring for people, we ourselves are taught about health, chronic disease, coping, praying, living, hoping, grieving, resilience, and sadly…..dying.
Realizing just how tough that tiny little organ in the chest is, and how thoughtfully our Creator designed it to withstand all life’s challenges is pretty impressive.
Therefore, my hope for this blog is to continue learning about the newest treatments, best food, encouraging words of truth, exercise and hobbies, and share them here with you.
