Basic Gluten Free Bread Mix is easy to use for a flat bread or a Sweet Bread. Let’s face it gluten free baking is a challenge. It ‘s fun to mix and match flour flavors and textures, yet no so much fun to waste your expensive ingredients.
Since eating and enjoying food is all about the flavor, it’s important to find the right mix that works for you.The flavor and texture of this gluten free bread mix transitions well for cranberry flavored scones or a cilantro flatbread. (See recipe links below)
(Makes about 3 1/2 cups)
1 1/3 cups Oat flour
1/3 cup Almond flour
1/3 cup Tapioca Flour
1/3 cup Coconut flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
I don’t usually recommend this much salt, but this is spread out into two recipes (12 scones and 6 flat breads)
I’ve used it for blueberry and lemon scones as well as for fish sandwiches.
