High fiber and whole grains make for a delicious and healthy crust for fruit pizza. Fresh summer berries provide more fiber, healing antioxidants and are mouth watering delicious!
For this simple recipe combine in the following order:
2 cups old fashion oats
1/4 cup flax seed meal
1/4 cup unbleached organic flour
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp cinnamon
Mix well and make a well in the center, add:
2 tbsp coconut oil or butter (melted)
1/3 cup honey
Stir well and then incorporate dry ingredients. Bake on a pizza pan at 350 degrees for 20-25 min. until golden brown. Let cool.
Mix 1 cup yogurt and 1/4 cup of honey an spread on cooled pizza crust.
Top with strawberries, blueberries, pineapples, kiwi.
