Hebrews 12:2 makes it clear Jesus is the pioneer and perfector of our faith. The pioneer that goes before and makes the way for others to follow. The perfector who is actively working in and among us to get us to the point of complete trust. The place where it is hard for the average […]

Spiritual Encouragement is getting through life with God’s Word and prayer. I am no expert or bible scholar by any means. Yet, His word leads me to contemplate, pray, and share with others in any capacity I can.
Writing is new for me, as you will see if you read further. It has been a joy and privilege to explore areas of serving others. Meeting the physical needs of many is doable and often times, easy to recognize. Understanding and ministering to their spiritual needs, however, requires more discernment and care.
It is my hope and earnest desire to share with you any Spiritual Encouragement I receive through scripture reading, devotions, or bible studies. I would also love to encourage you to participate in bible studies, it is where we truly connect with God, who He is, how he loves us, and His plan for our lives.
God Bless you keep you this day and every day!

This study by, Beth Moore, highlights the precision of God’s dwelling place in Exodus. Therefore, reading Exodus chapters 24-30 is opening this New Testament believer’s eyes to […]

This bible study teaches us about the tabernacle. A […]
There are many days I feel completely powerless. Romans chapter 5 assures me “at just the right time , when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly die. But God demonstrates His own love for us […]
Psalm 55:16 But I call to God, and the Lord will save me. Do you ever have dreams that wake you with a racing heart? That consuming feeling that you can’t breathe? The distinct feeling of fighting for your life….and losing? Dreams that consume are my reality these past two nights of sleep. The first […]
Philippians 4:8 (NASB) Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. Whatever is….. True Not my true. Your true. The world’s true. God’s true. The rich, […]
Do you want more power? When you see the word power do you think of physical strength, will power, powerful storms, government entities or people in ‘powerful’ positions? Merriam-Webster defines power as: 1. an ability to act to produce an effect 2. possession of control, authority, or influence over others. 3. A […]
Contentment….that’s a hard one. “The test of whether Christ is enough rarely happens when life is great. Your truest answer to the contentment question may come in your worst moments.” (Kendrick, 2015, p. 57) Contentment–strong enough to need no aid or support; sufficient; independent of external circumstances; contented with one’s lot, with ones means, though […]
God said , “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds. And it was so. The land produced vegetation; plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And […]
Faith is the light 07/16/2016 Our faith is the light , it cannot be hidden except to be made manifest by our tests, trials, life itself, disappointments, illness, pain, or suffering. That secret time with God, praying, reading His word, trusting Him with all authority, and submitting to Him in all things, is when […]
“The apostles were highly regarded as they performed many miraculous signs and wonders among the people that met together in Solomon’s Colonnade.” (Acts 5:12-13) Acts chapter 5 describes the early dedication of the people of the church, as well as those who attempt to deceive. Dedicated Christ followers were willing to give all they […]
